Concept: 

Re-Shuffling the conventional building layout by blurring the boundaries between each space with functional elements inserted as replacements of the typical wall separation method.

 

Stairs were partially demolished and inserted with illumination from beneath to form a feature light. Origami inspired kitchen ceiling to reflect ambient light around the space. Dining and new outdoor leisure space were connected using luxurious deck extension, which later continues vertically as the privacy screen anchors the two spaces.
